Thank you to letter-writer W. Al Riede for his careful, respectful and powerful letter. It represents my own thoughts and many other community members.
There seems to be a real problem with police protecting each other and the law not applying to them. Disrespect for Hudson Brooks’ life, memory and his family is a glaring example. Another Christmas without their son or basic application of the law for taking his life.
