I would like to say something about our medical system, as I’ve been in long waits in emergency at Peace Arch Hospital.
It is disgusting that our people have such long waits in ER, as well as such ridiculous long waits to be operated on. When you have cancer, no one should wait another month-and-a-half for surgery, because of possible chance of it spreading. Nobody should have to wait when you have a serious illness or are in pain. What the hell is going on?
We need more hospitals and doctors. More people are coming into our cities, and I don’t see more hospitals.
Obviously, there is a problem in the system when there is long waits. Don’t ignore it. It won’t go away, it will only get worse.
