Today, a patron of the South Surrey Indoor Pool had a fall in the women’s change room because her leg gave out.

A lifeguard came in and immediately whistled for more help, and another lifeguard was on her way. The lifeguards spoke with the lady to assess her problem. They also comforted her and reassured her. Other lifeguards brought blankets to keep the lady warm.

At all times, the guards were inquiring as to her condition and administering what needed to be administered.

I was so impressed with their warmth and professionalism. These lifeguards were very well trained and immediately worked together as a team to ensure that every aspect of the situation was taken care of.

It is reassuring to know that the standard of lifeguarding is superb and very compassionate.
