I have been very fortunate in my life – good health, strong family, nice friends and a great career.
For these reasons, I would like to encourage anyone who has been as lucky as I have been to donate their $300 OAS grant to any worthy charity of their choosing. There are many to choose from and they could benefit more from this grant money than a great many of our local seniors – and, yes, I know there are many to whom this grant will be an important additional revenue source.
