I just watched the television news coverage of President Trump’s visits to Ohio and Texas.

The purpose of the visits was ostensibly to bring messages of condolence and support to victims and families after the senseless carnage brought on by domestic terrorists.

Instead, the visits morphed into Trump bragging about the turnout at earlier rallies wherein he delivered his usual diatribe of hate and intolerance.

He appears to be at his very ‘best’ when speaking to like-minded supporters and his actions, since taking office, have given a voice to the lunatic fringe, right-wing activists and racists in his country.

There once was another world leader who required the adulation of his followers to bolster his ego and legitimize his messages of hate. I think most of his rallies were held at Nuremberg.
