There have been many media reports of the dysfunctional Surrey City Council dominated by Mayor McCallum and Couns. Elford, Guerra, Nagra, and Patton.
George Zukerman, in his letter published in the July 28 issue of Peace Arch News suggests that the mayoralty candidates display political courage and unite behind one candidate. I agree.
Imagine the competent and capable council Surrey would have if one candidate was chosen to run for mayor against McCallum, and the other candidates ran for council along with present incumbents Annis and Hundial.
