As a way to boost business at the beach and get the beach cleaned up, how about getting the fire department involved and do bonfires on the beach?
Controlled burning of the wood would not only clean up the beach, but also would attract the public down to Marine Drive. With the amount of wood down on the beach, White Rock could do one per week and work from west to east beach, burning all the wood along the way.
I‘m sure this would attract the general public and help the businesses along Marine Drive.
