In the small City of White Rock, how many highrise residential buildings are under construction, approved or applied for?

Thirteen! Totalling 252 floors. Averaging 19.4 floors. That equals about 2,000 new units, about 3,200 additional residents and about 2,000 additional vehicles.

Seven of them, totalling close to 1,200 units, are in a two-block by three-block rectangle in the upper town centre.

With 1,200 more vehicles in that area, imagine the traffic on Martin, Thrift and George streets.

After the Buy-Low lot is closed, and construction crews are on all these buildings by late-2018, there will be no street parking available during daytime hours.
