Quietly paying for Interpol

Open letter to MP Russ Hiebert. Explain why taxpayers are paying $8,000 per month for apartment rental to William Elliot.

Open letter to MP Russ Hiebert.

I would like you to explain to your constituents why the taxpayers of this great country are paying $8,000 per month for apartment rental – in addition to an annual salary of more than $230,000 – to the former commissioner of the RCMP, William Elliot, who is now sitting in New York acting as a “special representative of Interpol to the United Nations.”

His arrangement was made by a hush-hush order-in-council in 2011.

At the same time, you might also explain why we are picking up the tab for the new Internet reality series, 24 Seven, featuring Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Should not the Conservative party be paying for this blatant propaganda?
