To whom it may concern.

I take full responsibility for not being more careful and leaving my car window partly open, which was parked on George Street the week of June 17. However, that didn’t mean that entitled you to take the bag that was not yours to take.

I don’t think there was anything that would interest you, except my camera, which has photographs that mean more to me than you.

I guess this is where I ask you to be so kind as to mail the chip to the Peace Arch News or the local police station. My problem is, does this mean I am now rewarding you for taking the camera in the first place? Do I really have to treat you like a nice, kind person and request you do this one thing for me?

To be honest, I would really like my camera back, too. It’s not a super new one, but I happen to like it.

I will, though, settle for the chip.

One more thing; karma happens.
