I am very concerned about the future of the Christian Science Church that sits beside the city hall.
White Rock now owns that property.
Bylaw 2044 is up for a vote on Jan. 13. This will decide the status of the property.
It is public property now and can be used by the community for seniors, daycares for children, parks… It is for the citizens of White Rock.
If Bylaw 2044 is passed, it would change the public part forever. It would pass to private enterprise.
I think this idea is shortsighted, mistaken and dangerous.
