On Tuesday March 6, I was at Crescent Beach, to take my dogs for a walk in the dog park.
I had locked my purse in the trunk of my car, after being gone for only 10 minutes because of the cool weather conditions, I unlocked my trunk and my purse was gone.
Someone went through the inside of my car and ripped the back seat open in order to get into the trunk.
I had other bags in there that were untouched, and nothing else was looked through. So they must have seen me put it in there.
After telling my story to family and friends I have got feedback from three people that this has happened to within the last few weeks, two of them also at Crescent Beach.
I’m so shocked over this whole situation, I always thought of this being a nice beach community, not a place for thieves to hang out!
