I’m mad. I’m fed up. I’m disgusted.
What will it take to get people to stop texting while they’re driving?
The last straw for me was a blog post that I read this morning about a woman, who almost lost her life in a car accident caused by another young driver, who was texting.
It really hit a nerve for me, because recently I’ve been noticing lots of drivers – mostly young kids – texting behind the wheel.
What don’t they get? When you take your eyes off the road to read a text, you are saying you’re OK with the possibility of committing homicide. It’s not cute. It’s not cool. It’s ignorant and selfish.
