The Surrey Bulldogs under-11 boys basketball team was won win away from a championship run at Simon Fraser University last weekend, but still returned home with silver medals.
The U11 squad – started last year by South Surrey resident Kevin Larkin and coached by Connor Heinrich – won every game but the last one at the 3D Spring Shootout tournament, losing in the final to the Abbotsford Thunder.
