It was the Rockets who took back the momentum in the final period, netting two goals in the first five minutes of play then adding another with 61 seconds remaining.

The two teams split their two games in Langley Oct. 13-14, with the Rockets getting the decision 7-6 on Saturday night and the Hawks taking the win in the second game by a 3-1 margin.

Valley West will be off the ice over the Christmas break, resuming league play Jan. 5-6 when they travel to Prince George for a two-game series with the second-place Cariboo Cougars (18-6-0). The Hawks dropped two one-goal games to Cariboo last September in Langley.
