The Semiahmoo Totems won the RCMP Basketball Classic for the first time since 1995 Saturday night, defeating the Panorama Ridge Thunder 66-63 in the championship game at Enver Creek Secondary.
In the junior boys contest in the afternoon, Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers managed an unlikely come-from-behind 67-66 win against the Semiahmoo Totems.
The day included an exhibition game where Surrey school basketball coaches edged out members of the Surrey RCMP.
