Soccer camps wrapping up

Creative Soccer’s last community soccer camp of the summer hits the field from Aug. 29 until Sept. 2 at Bakerview Park in South Surrey (1815 154 St.).

The camps are for “tots, children and women” with different sessions scheduled for each group. Two different sessions for four- to seven-year-old players are scheduled, the first from 9-11 a.m. and a second from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

A women’s beginner and intermediate program runs 9-11 a.m. daily, while seven to 11 year olds will play 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The 11-13 year old age group, with sessions from 9-11 a.m. and 11 a.m.-1p.m, will be taught by former professional soccer player Derek Possee, a former star with Tottenham and Millwall.

Cost is $90 per player, with discounts for siblings and family groups. For information or to register, email creativesoccer@shaw.ca
