More than 170 local figure skaters hit the ice at South Surrey Arena Saturday, at White Rock South Surrey Skating Club’s annual winter carnival.
This year’s event – dubbed ‘Heroes, Stars and Idols’ – featured tributes to Hollywood stars, as well as music legends of the past.
Two shows were staged – an afternoon matinee as well as a 7 p.m. evening show.
