White Rock-South Surrey Baseball Association is set to host District 3’s 12-year-old Majors and Selects tournaments next month, and volunteers are needed to help ensure the events go off without a hitch.
The tournaments run July 8-17 at South Surrey Athletic Park and Centennial Park.
Volunteers are needed to run the concession booths at both parks, and scorekeepers, scoreboard operators, barbecuers and field workers – prepping and cleaning up diamonds and dugouts – are also needed.
Additionally, help is needed to sell 50/50 and raffle tickets.
