The triumphant return of comics, music and acrobatic flair will be gracing the streets and stages of the Peninsula once again for the annual White Rock Buskers and Comedy Festival.

Taking place the weekend of June 14 and 15, the Friday and Saturday have jam-packed events suitable for people of many different ages.

“Performances will range from singer-songwriters to a tap dancer, a harpist, a folk singing trio, and even a troupe of circus performers,” reads a release from White Rock Business Improvement Association (BIA), the producers of the festival.

Friday, June 14 will see the comedy stylings of Travis Bernhardt, the headliner, and Sophia Johnson featuring during the evening at White Rock’s Islands Cafe location. The following day will have Yumi Nagashima taking the stage, while Ola Dada is also featured at Blue Frog Studios.

Five Corners, Miramar Plaza and other neighbourhoods of the seaside city will also be lively, with free buskers roaming the streets in-between the scheduled shows.

Both shows are ticketed, with passes available soon to buy from whiterockbia.com, which is also where the full schedule of buskers can be found.
