South Surrey and White Rock residents got their first taste of winter this week, as snow flurries behind Thursday evening and continued overnight – leaving morning commuters to deal with ice and snow on Friday morning.

According to Environment Canada, there is a chance of snow flurries in the Lower Mainland throughout the weekend, with a forecast low of -2 C overnight tonight, as well as Sunday.
