Born June 2, 1923, passed away tragically on October 28, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Hugh, sisters Tabea, Lily (Dan), Hilda (Dan), Elizabeth (Karl), brother Harold (Alice), sisters-in-law Anne, Dorothy and Ida and numerous nieces and nephews. Adina taught elementary school in Canada, Scotland and France over a period of 42 years. She loved gardening, traveled extensively and was an active volunteer in her community. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Drop in for tea and share your stories of our beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend as we celebrate her life on Sunday, November 15, 2 – 4 pm at the Women’s Place (South Fraser Women’s Services Society) at 15318 20th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. V4A 2A2. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5 at 2 pm at Grace Baptist Church, 1150 Glenmore Drive, Kelowna, B.C.
