Passed away peacefully on May 13, 2005 at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC.
Gord was born April 14, 1919 in Vancouver.
He enrolled in the Canadian Army in 1942 as a Junior Clerk with the rank of Private, and retired in 1966 with the rank of Captain, at which time he was Second-in-Command and Acting Commanding Officer of the Vancouver Wireless Station.
Gord is survived by his wife Eileen, sons Bill and Gord, and several grandchildren.
A simple ceremony was held at Victory Memorial Park in Surrey at 2pm on May 24th, 2005.
