MacLean: Emily Beatrice (nee Campion) died peacefully June 27, 2003 at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C.
She will be sorely missed by her son Bruce, grandsons: Lachlan and Angus, and great grandson Campbell.
Beatrice, a member of a pioneer family, was born in Nelson on April 27, 1908. She had an outstanding teaching career in Nelson where she was a much-loved primary teacher until her retirement in June of 1972. She spent her post-retirement years in White Rock where she became actively involved in church and hospital auxiliary endeavours.
Beatrice is pre-deceased by her parents: William and Sarah Campion as well as her six brothers and sisters: Flora, Edna, George, Margaret, Wilma and Arthur.
