Jack LOEPPKY

April 1, 2017

LOEPPKY, Jack Ronald

January 1948 - April 2017

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our devoted and loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and friend who passed away peacefully at the age of 69. Predeceased by his parents Otto & Violet Loeppky and beloved son Philip Clayton Loeppky.

Jack will be forever loved and missed by his daughter Marianne, wife Gaye, grandson Sebastian Gillan, daughter-in-law Lisa Gillan, brother Dennis (Lise), sister Jean Wallace (Dave), and many nieces and nephews.

Jack grew up and attended school in Abbotsford, served in the Reserve Army (1963-1969) Royal Westminster Regiment, was a manager for Famous Players Theatres (1967-1969), sold Real Estate, but most of his career was as a Land Developer who built the Aldergrove Arena, several apartment buildings and sub-divisions in Aldergrove and White Rock.

Jack was an avid history buff who loved to travel; taking his family around the world where he relished the sights, sounds and people of each place. He was the family genealogist for over 20 years documenting our history and making sure it was shared by everyone. It was a pleasure to be around Jack who always took the time to sit and chat.

Please join us at the home of his brother, Dennis and Lise Loeppky, 1923 Ocean Park Rd on Saturday April 15th at 2:00pm.

We know Phil was there to greet you

and take you home... just as you wanted.

Forever you both will be loved and missed... ~ Your family.
