Kay was born in Vancouver on October 24, 1921 and passed away peacefully in Peace Arch Hospital on August 6, 2009. Kay was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, George Beatty, Kay will be greatly missed by her son Gord, daughter - in - law Shelley, grandchildren; Sharlot, Melany and Jasmin and great-grandchildren Phoenix and Kyle. As well as her many friends in the White Rock, South Surrey area.
Memorial service will be held at Sunnyside United Church 15639 24th Ave, South Surrey on August 13, 2009 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be set to The Peace Arch Hospital.
