1923 - 2010
NIPPARD, Leonard George passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2010. Predeceased by his first wife, Gwendolyn Cecelia in 1982. Survived by his loving wife, Carol Stapleton, daughters Christine (Floyd), Gail (Peter), Valerie, Rosalind (Alan) and Sheila (Gilbert); grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Mandy Ricky, Virginia, Lee, Jamie, Helen, Brian, Megan and six great grandchildren. George served in the British
Merchant Marine during WW II, and his love of the sea stayed with him forever, though latterly not working, but cruising with Carol. As an avid sports fan we know wherever you are you will be watching the World Cup, Dad. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Legion would be greatly appreciated.
