Louie was born in Keighley, Yorkshire, England and passed away in White Rock, B.C. on October 27, 2003 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alwynne in 1973. Survived by her loving family: daughter Wendy, granddaughter Sara (Desmond), sister Winifred Wilson and her family in Britain.
A service of Remembrance was held in First United Church (Centre Street and Buena Vista Avenue), White Rock on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Lutes officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Louie, to the Peace Arch District Hospital Foundation, 15521 Russell Avenue, White Rock, B.C. V4B 2R4.
