Passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital on January 3, 2003 at the Finlay Pavilion, White Rock, B.C. Born in New Westminster, B.C. on February 28, 1913, lived in Vancouver for many years and later moved to Surrey. She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 52 years, Frederick James and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Beard 1972, her father Alfred Beard 1969, her sister Doris Christie 1991 and her uncle Jim Till 1978. Special thanks to Berkley and Finlay Pavilion and Peace Arch Hospital, her doctors, nurses and staff. Cremation, no service by request.
