With sadness we announce the passing of Patrick Bruce (Mikey) on September 24th, 2006.
He was born in Poplar Park on June 4th, 1904 to a pioneering family, he spent his life building, selling and remodeling houses in Manitoba and B.C. He was predeceased by his wife May on December 30th, 1995 after 68 years of marriage.
Pat is survived by his sister-in--law Ivy and his 3 children, Lorne (Gertie-deceased), Joan (Ed), and Jim (Holly); 9 grandchildren, Arlene, Neil, Catherine (Terry), David (Jill), Laura (Rick), Colin (Sharon), Heather (Ray), Brian and Caitlin; 9 great-grandchildren, Meredith, Jessica, Jenny, Allison, Jordan, John, Evie, Carter and Meredith; 3 great-great grandchildren, Ross, Ryan and Charlie; as well as numerous relatives and friends in Manitoba and B.C.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 30th in Libau, Manitoba.
