April 23, 1929 – May 5, 2017
Bob passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; his parents and three brothers. Bob is survived by his children, Robert “Bob” (Arlene Eberhardt), Bruce and Barb (Greg) White; grandchildren Lisa, Lyndsay, Justin, Tracy, Jennie and Christopher; great-grandchildren Alex, Emily, Conner and Lilias. He is also survived by his brother Colin and sister Joyce.
After 35 years in the RCMP, Dad enjoyed 30 years of retirement in Surrey, British Columbia. He and Mom enjoyed traveling together and visiting friends until Mom’s passing in 2003. Dad also loved gardening and lawn bowling. He volunteered tirelessly in a number of organizations after retirement. In fact, Dad was so involved in the community that he was actually busier in retirement than he was during his working years.
Honouring Dad’s request, no service will be held.
