Stanley Dusan Jamnicky age 76 years passed away of cancer on August 14, 2002, he also had Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Montreal, Que. May 10, 1926. Mother, Dorothy Williams, also born in Montreal. His father set up the Czechoslovak Consulate in Montreal, Que. in 1920. Stan was a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, fully bi-lingual, he was also very good at sports. He worked as a statistician, accountant etc. Always a gentleman.
Survived by his wife Lise of almost 47 years. Daughter Cathy, son-in-law Michel, son Steven, grandchildren Yvette, Emily, Alidas. We are going to miss him very much.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Stanley Briggs and the Nurses at Peace Arch Hospital who were marvellous and also for the support of our neighbors and friends who helped us through this difficult time.
