Coats for Kids campaign kicks off

Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association launches 17th annual fundraiser

Last year, Metro Vancouver residents donated more than 3,000 scarves, gloves, blankets and new unwrapped gifts for distribution to children, teenagers and adults.

This year, the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association hopes to do at least as well.

The association has launched its 17th annual Coats for Kids campaign in support of the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, which helps provide a better Christmas for families in need.

In addition to the GVHBA office, 38 companies at 64 locations in 14 municipalities will serve as coat drop-off sites from Nov. 19 to Dec. 7.
