Free personal shopping and styling services will be offered at Guildford Town Centre starting Thursday, March 28, marking “a major milestone” for the 58-year-old mall in Surrey.

The launch of a Personal Styling service aims to offer shoppers “a complimentary and one-of-a-kind shopping experience tailored to the unique lifestyles of its diverse and dynamic community,” a news release says.

Guildford is considered “the first and only shopping destination in the area to provide a personal shopping service at no cost.”

Fashion veteran Elizabeth Bull and outfit curator Sierra Compton will provide “expertly curated merchandise selections across all categories based on each client’s specific needs, budget and style preferences.”

Bookings are done on guildfordtowncentre.com/services/personal-styling, where shoppers can share their style preferences, wardrobe requirements, sizes and favoured brands. Clients then meet the stylist for a guided, two-hour-maximum “shopping experience” where purchases can be made at selected stores.

Kiran Deol, Guildford Town Centre’s marketing manager, calls the service “a highly personalized, practical and time-saving retail experience.

“Whether shopping for a vacation wardrobe, a special event, a new job, or simply looking to elevate your everyday style, our talented stylists will help curate merchandise and provide tips and advice, all in a no-pressure environment for a stress-free shopping experience,” Deol said in the news release, sent by Nine Point Agency.

The launch of the styling service involves a $10,000 “dream wardrobe” giveaway in a promo running March 28 to April 21, on guildfordtowncentre.com/events/enter-for-the-chance-to-win-10000-dream-wardrobe-giveaway. The winner will be announced April 22.

In the mall’s Centre Court area, a Dream Wardrobe pop-up closet created by interior designer Aleem Kassam, feature spring fashion from retailers and “endless sartorial possibilities.” People can walk through the immersive experience, meet the stylists and enter the wardrobe giveaway.
