The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #240 donated $11,000 towards the purchase of a speciality TheraKair mattress for Peace Arch Hospital.
The funds were raised for the specialized mattress – which increases patient comfort by relieving stress, pressure and friction – through the legion’s annual poppy campaign held each fall leading up to Remembrance Day.
