Pancakes anyone?

Everyone is invited to Choices Market in South Surrey on Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. to noon to enjoy a pancake breakfast.

The breakfast is intended to raise awareness about prostate cancer as well as funds for Prostate Cancer Canada.

Representatives from the local support group, Prostate Cancer Canada Network-Surrey, will be at the breakfast to answer questions about the resources available to anyone with a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian men and will affect one in six men in their lifetime; within a decade that statistic is expected to rise to one in four, states a release.
