Parents of children in Grades 2 to 4 who need practise reading are invited to sign their youngsters up for Coast Capital Reading Buddies.
Offered at the Cloverdale, Fleetwood, Newton, Strawberry Hill and Guildford libraries, the program matches high school students with participants who get to work on their reading skills in a non-threatening environment.
The program starts Oct. 18 in Cloverdale, Oct., 12 at Strawberry Hill, Oct. 25 at Fleetwood and Newton libraries and Nov. 3 in Guildford.
