Former Vancouver Canuck Trevor Linden will be in town this weekend to open the first of two B.C. locations of Orangetheory Fitness.
The fitness chain will open in South Surrey and North Vancouver with co-owner Linden spearheading the transition into the province.
The hockey player – who also owns gym chain Club16 with his business partner, Chuck Lawson – will be on hand Saturday at 10 a.m. at Orangetheory’s pre-sale opening of the future South Surrey location at Peninsula Village, 540-15355 24 Ave.
According to a news release, OTF is “one-hour small-group classes with a high-intensity, heart-rate monitored, plateau-bursting work out.”
Orangetheory has more than 250 locations in North America.
