More than 450 Peninsula residents wined, dined and donated at Semiahmoo House Society’s largest fundraiser May 4.
The annual A Taste of B.C.’s Finest raised more than $40,000 benefitting the non-profit society’s recreation and leisure program.
More than 80 volunteers and 40 wineries from around the province, local restaurants, micro-breweries and retailers participated in the ninth-annual fundraiser.
Semiahmoo House Society has provided support for people with disabilities in communities including White Rock, Surrey, Langley and Cloverdale since 1957.
