The White Rock BIA Amazing Race Game will take place throughout the uptown business district over a two-week period, starting at the Uptown Street Festival Sept. 10.
All members of the community are encouraged to take part and discover the uptown area and the hidden gems within.
Racers will make their way through White Rock collecting clues to their next location, where they’ll have to learn more about an uptown merchant in order to solve the puzzle.
Participants will then get their Race Card stamped and the clue for the next location.
Contestants then enter their completed Race Cards for the chance to win $250 in “White Rock dollars” and other prizes.
Entry forms and the first clue can be found at the Amazing Race booth at the festival, which is to be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. After that date, they are available at participating merchants or the BIA office, 1550 Foster St.
