A fundraiser going towards supporting Peace Arch Elementary students gain access to more technology is fast approaching.
Planned for the second week of April, Splashes Auto Care in South Surrey Auto Mall (#103-3050 King George Blvd.) will be running a fundraiser in hopes of helping local students.
“When Kirsten Yanicki, the PAC president, shared the school’s fundraising goals with us, we saw an opportunity to contribute,” said spokesperson Yago Ambrosio.
Set for April 8 to 14, $1 from every car wash will go towards Peace Arch Elementary so that students are able to have upgraded technology, such as tablets. The funds will also support the school’s community garden, Ambrosio said.
“We sincerely hope that this fundraiser will have a positive impact beyond financial contributions, as we trust in our community’s ability to come together in support of the cause.”
