Officials with Alexandra House have good news for gardening enthusiasts looking for land to sow: nine plots have come available in their community garden.
Open to members in South Surrey and White Rock, the garden is located on Sullivan Street across from the camp, and is maintained entirely by the community gardeners.
Plots – each measuring 4x10-feet – may be claimed for up to three years, at a cost of $25 per year (April 1 to March 31), with the fees going to support common garden projects. Membership in Alexandra Neighbourhood House is also required ($15 per year). Those fees support ANH programs.
