Prepare–Prevent–Protect is the theme of this year’s Crime Prevention Week.
Taking place Nov. 1-7 in Surrey, the city’s Crime Reduction Strategy Team, crime prevention co-ordinators and Surrey RCMP are hosting events including a display at Central City Mall and an information booth in the city hall foyer, at 14245 56 Ave.
Topics highlighted for the week include bullying, wire and metal theft, police-based victim services, theft from auto and ATM/debit card safety. Tip sheets will be provided online.
