The fifth annual White Rock Princess Party – held Saturday at the Star of the Sea Hall – was the most successful yet, according to organizer Myra Merkel.
The sold-out event raised $17,559 for the White Rock Firefighters Charitable Society, which is raising money to build an all-abilities playground.
In total, 225 tickets – each good for one child and guardian – were sold for the weekend event, which was highlighted by a performance from Princess Elsa, from the Disney movie, Frozen.
