Elgin Park Secondary students and staff are gearing up to host their annual Christmas Community Dinner.
The student-led event, in its 11th year, is set for Dec. 16 at the 13484 24 Ave. school, and is to include dinner, dessert and entertainment.
It's "for those that might otherwise not have Christmas dinner," teacher sponsor Sinead Hibbert said.
Guests will also leave with a goodie bag.
Deadline to register – call 604-538-6678 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday – is Dec. 9.
