Members of the City of Surrey’s Natural Areas Partnership (SNAP) and Salmon Habitat Restoration Program (SHaRP) will come together Friday to clean up Queen Mary Park.
The environmental restoration teams – made up of local students – will be on hand at the Surrey park, located at 8972 Queen Mary Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., cleaning up invasive species such as Himalayan blackberry and English ivy, as well as litter.
