An information evening to discuss genetically modified foods is to take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Star of the Sea Centre, 15262 Pacific Ave.
Featuring guest speaker Dag Falck, agronomist and member of the Non-GMO Project, issues on the evening agenda include explaining what GMOs are, how they are used in today’s farming and what risks they pose to health and environment.
