Sources Community Services Society is now offering one-on-one life skills training and job support programs to women who have survived violence.

The new services have been made possible thanks to an Envision Financial Community Endowment of $19,956.

The empowerment services will provide women who have experienced, or are experiencing, abuse with a full suite of services including preparing them for group settings and encouraging participation in empowerment workshops.

Women will also be supported through short certificate programs – such as WHMIS, First Aid and Food Safe – and through job search techniques and on-the-job training.

This project operates out of Sources South Surrey‐White Rock WorkBC Employment Services Centre. Women who are interested in participating are invited to call 604‐542‐7590.
