A successful Lobsterfest auction dinner and dance on May 26 helped the Rotary Club of White Rock reach its latest goal – a commitment to donate $250,000 to White Rock’s Centre For Active Living.
Among fundraising initiatives at the event was a lottery for an Alaskan cruise, which was won by Eline Nimetz.
The club credits the support of event sponsors Scotiabank and the White Rock firefighters in helping members accomplish the objective.
