Pizzazz International Modeling and Acting will feature local models and talents June 27 at its annual showcase at the Pacific Inn Ballroom in White Rock.
The South Surrey-based company will be celebrating 33 years at the event, which will include cocktails, a silent auction and a fashion show.
Participants and attendees are asked to look through their wardrobes and bring any unwanted items of clothing, which will be donated to Sources Women’s Place, said director Victoria Clements.
“Part of the aspect of what Pizzazz does is promote being a role model,” Clements said. “Instead of doing something like a food drive, we decided to do a clothing drive for women in transition at Sources Women’s Place.”
Purses and coats donated will be used in a live auction with proceeds benefitting the Soroptimists International White Rock South Surrey Chapter RESTART program which helps women enter the work force.
Other highlights will include live entertainment from recent Diamond in the Rock Winner Tommy Alto and Mike Fabro.
